Who We Are
Welcome to Wura Mansa Holding SARL where our name, just like our vision, is one underpinned by the spirit of pan-Africanism and a strong passion to drive the development of the 'Golden Continent':

'Wura' is the Yoruba word for gold, while

'Mansa' is inspired by the many kings that ruled over the Malian region and in particular a direct homage to the increasingly popular and inspirational ‘Mansa Musa’ one of Mali’s most famous sons and reportedly the richest man to have ever walked this earth.
We are a gold trader and exporter, selling both domestically within Mali, as well as serving international brokers and buyers ranging from the Americas to the Middle East.
Beyond this, our goal is to also be an exporter of African, and specifically Malian, culture to the global stage through the empowerment of our local community. Our additional business activities therefore also cover transportation, property, leisure and entertainment.
Our mission is to tackle the all-too-common inequalities seen across our continent and contribute to developing infrastructure across the domains of agriculture, transportation, tourism and education to see Mali - and Africa - flourish as it deserves.

Mohamed Bachir Coulibaly
Chief Executive Officer
With a sports career spanning both football and athletics, our CEO and founder Mohamed Bachir Coulibaly is the passionate and energetic entrepreneur spearheading the Wura Mansa Holding Group.
A fiercely proud Malian, Mohamed acquired his first taste of business through his late and beloved father, Mr Bassirou Coulibaly, a successful businessman who spent over three decades building his import-export business in the Middle East and most notably constructing the first motor oil factory in the UAE, manufactured by his African team.
Inspired by his time working in the family business and building on from his successful careers in the UAE and Qatar, our CEO has built an extensive network of contacts.
A burgeoning philanthropist, Mohamed has a vision to transform Mali through development in the transportation, property and leisure sectors, bolstering the country’s plentiful resources including, but of course not limited to, its precious minerals and gold
Azeezat Akande
Company Secretary
A qualified chartered accountant and finance analyst, Azeezat Akande brings an extensive range of financial and project management skills to our team with experience in both Europe and the Middle East.
As Wura Mansa Company Secretary, Azeezat manages the handling and implementation of all administrative matters as appropriate.
A British-Nigerian hybrid and an avid learner of languages and culture, Azeezat is also passionate about driving our wider purpose of development across the continent of Africa.
Mahamadou Konate
Director of Operations
A highly skilled diplomat and intermediary, Mahamadou Konate has multinational experience serving as an attaché to the Commander of Intervention for Guinean troops as part of a United Nations mission. Additionally, Mahamadou has worked as a forwarding agent within the Malian region of Sikasso.
Equipped with his dynamic interpersonal skills and cross-cultural experience, Mahamadou oversees all operational and logistical matters pertaining to the Wura Mansa Group and its activities.
